Hemline was established in New Orleans in 1994 with two simple missions: to provide high-quality, unique merchandise to the fashion-forward woman and to create long-lasting customer relationships rooted in the trusted Hemline name and reputation. Hemline offers a range of sought-after women’s accessories, shoes, and apparel.

Marketing
Hands-on training and learning opportunity include but not limited to:

  • Development and execution of marketing plans
  • Newsletter (content development, planning, strategy)
  • Social media marketing
  • Influencer marketing and outreach
  • Copy development for marketing materials
  • Online calendar
  • Maintain and create content for the Hemline blog
Buying
Hands-on training and learning opportunity include but not limited to:

  • Understanding the buying process for 28 locations
  • Researching and knowing upcoming trends
  • Organizing purchase orders for all locations
  • Help create presentations about trends
  • Purchase order management
  • Supporting designated buyer
  • Demonstrate product knowledge
Requirements

  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in college/university
  • Provide proof of internship requirements for school
  • Dedicate 10-15/hours a week with a set schedule
  • Knowledge of project management software (e.g. Asana, Trello, Slack, Google Apps)
  • Design skills helpful (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva)
  • Creative, driven, takes initiative
  • Highly interested in the fashion industry
